Probably the most popular method for attaching a lead, the ACE lead clip system has been designed to safely eject the lead without the need for trimming or modification should a fish run through weed, snags or become tethered.
The force required to ditch the lead is pre-determined by how far you push on the tail rubber. Each clip incorporates a pin which locks the swivel into the body. This is essential for the clip to work effectively. Used in conjunction with size 8 swivels, ACE carp safe lead clips are supplied with matching tail rubbers and a tool to remove the pin when required.
