Smooth, with good line lay. Looks and feels good quality. Plays fish on the drag well and the fighting drag is must for me these days on smaller reels. |

Anti reverse switch is too small and fiddly. |

I have the 2500 version for float fishing on rivers and find it's perfect for the the job. The fast retrieve can catch me out a bit and spin baits as I am used to slower retrieves, so I need to change my habits a tad. |
