The Aspire RA is one of the most advanced rear drag reels Shimano has ever developed. It is the first rear drag reel feauring the Shimano "SR" concept and provides a fantastic combination of power and lightness. All Shimano reels are subjected to rigorous testing before production, the new Aspire AX is no exception to this rule and has continuosly proven it's reliability and performance under extreme conditions. The Aspire contains many features such as a one piece bail, high efficiency gears, Aero Wrap system with two-speed slow oscillation for perfect line lay and 3 high value ultra-light cold forged spools. The full range includes all traditional 1500, 2500 & 4000 sizes as well as a 3000 size with a shallow spool - designed for spinning and match fishing with light mono or braided lines.
