The original design of downtide boat rods served anglers well for many years but as
technology improved previously only dreamt of alternatives have now become a reality.
Slimmer and lighter blanks gives the designer more scope to enhance the rod action.
Continuing the original Tidecutter concept of utilising High modulus carbon fibre
unencumbered by a reel seat joint to produce tubular ultra light and ultra slim rods.
The lower section of the 6/12, 12/20 and
20/30 models carries a Fuji reel seat with
abbreviated lightweight EVA grips with
a light alloy gimbal with a matching EVA
cover blends in with the lower grip. While
the 30/50 and 30/50 Pirker models are
fitted with an alloy reel fitting for extra
security when using heavier lines.
