'LIGHTWEIGHT, STURDY, VERSATILE, HARDWEARING, EXCELLENT VALUE'

Strengths:

Very quick to setup and if used only as a day shelter (without the heavyduty hardwearing groundsheet) it can be carried in the pocket of a standard rod bag. Will stand up to most storms on it's own; add the overwrap and it turns into a substantial any season bivvy.

Weaknesses:

No mossi doors or windows. Although I'd rather save on bulk and weight.

Overall:

This pramhood style bivvy was designed with one purpose, to keep the angler dry and warm regardless of the conditions; the STI-R achieves this and more. A one man bivvy that will sleep two anglers either lengthways or across its width and still have room spare for their kit. Although the STI-R has no porch, this helps it fit into the smallest of swims. On a hot day roll back the three front panels and two side panels and you are left with a shelter that offers a panoramic view of your swim. The whole bivvy can be set up and secured within five minutes and that includes the overwrap. Which makes it ideal if you happen to be the mobile type of angler. A lightweight, excellent value shelter, although it's price in no way compromises its quality or its ability to do its job. A final note, these can be picked up for less that £160 (inc overwrap). A bargain. BTW these are now supplied with 10000 hydrostatic head waterproofing.
